The development comprises of 32 new build flats with commercial space at Great Junction Street, Edinburgh. 

The project was procured on a design and build basis with combination of social flatted dwellings with commercial space at ground floor level.

The building varied in height from four to five storeys along the street frontage infilling an eyesore gap site. 

​

The four storey section is of timber frame construction, as is the top four storeys of the five storey section, which in turn is supported on a steel transfer structure providing an open plan commercial space.  The structure bridges over a pend providing access between Great Junction Street and the parking area to the rear.

The foundation solution comprises of reinforced concrete beams supported on bored, insitu concrete piles.
