This privacy notice explains how we use any personal information we collect about you. 

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you engage us to provide consulting engineering services and/or provide advice or if you supply goods or services to us.  This information may include:

We may also collect information when you voluntarily complete client surveys / supplier questionnaires or provide feedback to us. 

Why do we need to collect and use your personal data?

The primary legal basis that we intend to use for the processing of your data is for the performance of our contract with you.  The information that we collect about you is essential for us to be able to carry out the services that you require from us effectively.  Without collecting your personal data we would be unable to fulfil our contract with you. 

Where sensitive personal data is requested we will obtain your explicit consent in order to collect and process this information. 

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you in order to provide you with the services for which you engage us. 

Who might we share your information with?

In order to deliver our services to you effectively we will share your information with third parties (such as, other companies involved in the Project, (statutory bodies and others) necessary to perform our services we are contracted to undertake or as required by law.  In addition we may list your Company Name and Project Information within marketing information such as Project Data Sheets, Website and submissions for marketing purposes. 

Where it's necessary for your sensitive personal data to be forwarded to a third party we will use appropriate security measures to protect your personal data in transit.  We may send your details to third party agencies for credit checks / identity verification purposes. 

How long do we keep hold of your information?

During the course of our relationship with you we'll retain your data which is necessary to provide services to you.  We'll take all reasonable steps to keep your personal data up to date throughout our relationship. 

Due to the intermittent nature of our business with you we reserve the right to retain data where we believe it is in our business and/or legitimate interests to do so.  In any case, well not keep your personal data for longer than 25 years after our relationship with you has ended. 

You have the right to request deletion of our personal data.  We will comply with this request, subject to the restrictions of our regulatory obligations and legitimate interests as noted above. 

How can I access the information you hold about me?

You can request details of this information we hold at any time. 

We have an obligation to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up to date.  Please ask us to correct or remove any information that you think is incorrect. 

Marketing

We'd like to send you information about our services which may be of interest to you.  If you've agreed to received marketing information, you may opt out at later date. 

You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please contact us by email or post.

Whilst we take all reasonable precautions to protect any personal data users may input via this website, we cannot be responsible for and therefore exclude all liability for loss or misuse of personal data which is intercepted or otherwise accessed by unauthorised persons.  Our website contacts link to other websites.  This privacy policy notice only applies to our website, when you link to other websites you should check their privacy policies. 

What can you do if you are unhappy with how your personal data is processed?
